What is a Scientist? What Do They Do?
Instructional Video
What is a scientist? What do they do? Complete THIS worksheet as research for your upcoming project. Each group member needs to watch 5 DIFFERENT scientist videos (you may NOT do Bill Nye or Mayim Bialik) so make sure you discuss who is watching what. Once you are all finished watching, get together and answer the bottom questions as a group. Don't forget to share your document with Mrs. Kohls.
Please title your document Scientists-your class hour- your last name
After you finish with this task, create a presentation that shows/tells Mrs. Kohls and your classmates what you believe a scientist is/does. You can create whatever presentation you would like...poster, google, imovie, etc. Make sure you read and print the following instructions and rubrics.
You will have Wednesday to research for this assignment. You may bring your devices to class. Your group will have Thursday to work on the presentation. Presentations will start on Friday, September 9.

2.) Please answer the following questions.

- How do you feel about science? Favorite topics?
- What has turned you off OR made you love science in the past?
- Is there anything in our classroom that might make it difficult for you to learn best?
- Anything you want Mrs. Kohls to know about you? What is really important for you to be able to learn at your best?
