My students have been extremely busy since the last time I wrote a post. We finished up the human body (digestive, circulatory, respiratory, skeletal, and muscular systems) and prepared for medical school. Students assumed the role of a cardiologist, pulmanologist, orthopedist, or gastroenterologist. Last Monday, patients came into class for their appointments (thanks Mrs. Gerth, Mr. Miller and Mrs. Roberts). The students asked the patients several questions about medical history and symptoms. Students also ordered lab tests. Based on research, test results, and working with other specialists, students came up with a final diagnosis and a treatment plan for their patient.
Next post...back to the mummies. Our 40 days of dehydration is over!
